Fashion Forward Friday: Runway Recap-Battle of the Babies

The challenge was to create a look for Heidi Klum’s Babies "R" Us clothing line. In fact, the winner of the competition will have their design sold at the store, but to start things off, one burning question: Why wasn't Suri Cruise asked to guest-judge this baby-wear challenge? Wasted opportunity — I would have appreciated her high-fashion sensibility and withering critiques.

The designers get a crash course in parenting when they discover they will each be responsible for a baby simulator. The terrifying android babies needed to be fed, rocked, and changed. Most of the designers seemed to subject their dolls to gross neglect, but Fabio became weirdly nurturing. Dmitry delivered the most controversial quote of the night: "Does anyone else have a black baby? Sonjia, do you want to switch? That's weird." Yay, racism?

Dmitry took the prize for being most anti-baby: "“We’re all screwed. Those babies are really, really small. I don’t even know how old they are, but I’m pretty sure they can’t talk. It’s like you’re making an outfit for a cat.” Hilarious, not age-ist.

Babies to the runway! I loved how Dmitry was freaking out about Arjun being sleepy and not being able to "sell" his look.

On the Runway:

New mom and celebrity guest judge Hilary Duff joins the fun this week!

Fabio: I would wear this combo with my (future) kid(s)

I loved the modern twist on his retro-inspired onesie. I liked that it looked like separates but had the ease and practicality of a one-piece. Mom’s look was pretty good as well—it had the same classic-with-a-twist flavor of his boy’s look. Michael liked his modern take on nautical; Heidi loved his look and liked that it was a onesie that looked like separates; Nina said it was very appropriate and practical; Hilary thought he looked like an old-fashioned baby—in a good way.

Melissa: I wouldn't wear this combo with my (future) kid(s) but I dress my baby in that vest

The vest was cute but didn’t have enough impact for me. Her white dress missed the mark. I don't think any of the designers really understood a child's needs, but Melissa didn't even seem to be thinking about the challenge at all. It needed to be more child-friendly and practical. Mom looked comfortable but kind of sloppy. Melissa scrambled this week and it shows. Heidi loved the vest but thought the dress underneath was too simple and showed too much diaper; Hilary said the zipper detail on the dress was dangerous; Michael thought that Melissa made mistakes in her fabric choices; Nina said the vest was whimsical but the dress was too serious and impractical.

Dmitry: I would wear this combo with my (future) kid(s)

I like the graphic quality of this look and could see a lot of little boys having adventures wearing it. The first thing I thought when I saw this was "Baby Super Mario". I just don’t think it fit in as well into Heidi’s collection as other designs. Mom looked really effortless but still put together. Michael liked how graphic the outfit was but thought it was borderline costume-y; Hilary agreed that it was borderline costume, but she liked it; Heidi thought it was modern and out there; Nina thought he looked like a crayon.

Sonjia: I would wear this combo with my (future) kid(s)

She thought about the challenge and delivered the practicality of separates with modern details. Her idea to make a tailored suit out of sweats was inspired; the combo was very smart but a lot of fun at the same time. Her charismatic baby Jude looked like a bespoke little GQ man who has fine taste and likes to enjoy Mom’s look, though cute, reminded me of Melissa’s look from the first episode. Heidi said the boy’s outfit was sharp and that he looked like a little man; Hilary liked that he could move in the garments and that it could be dressed up or down; Michael thought he looked polished and modern; Nina said he looked smart and well-dressed.

Christopher: I would wear this combo with my (future) kid(s)

Adorable! I'm so glad he proved his clients annoying mother wrong by winning the girls' side of the challenge. The ladies looked as though they were heading to a fancy mother-daughter brunch. I loved the joyful floral print and classic silhouette of Mom’s look too. They went together without being too matchy-matchy. Nina thought it was adorable but not very practical; Heidi said the outfit was irresistibly cute; Michael didn’t think the jacket worked, but liked the dress and headpiece; Hilary thought the dress had great movement and whimsy.

Elena: I would wear part of this combo with my (future) kid(s).  I like the mom's skirt and her daughter's jacket was adorable, but not as cute as her daughter...what a cutie)

She focused so much on that jacket that the other pieces suffered. The jacket design was special-occasion-like but the denim gave it versatility to dress down. Still, the look overall was a bit mismatched. Her baby Lumi looked as though she were wearing all stray bits of rag that get left over from the laundry. Mom looked polished and modern, though. Michael said the jacket was well-crafted but that the outfit overall looked like a baby sample sale; Heidi called the jacket a show-stopper but thought the pants were a throw-away; Hilary said she liked the jacket’s collar; Nina disagreed with the other judges and said the jacket was the problem.

Winner: Christopher and Sonjia

Auf-ed: Elena

What did you think? Do you know a toddler that would rock Christopher or Sonjia’s winning looks? Did you agree with the judges for kicking off Elena? Let me know your opinions in the comments below!

Therapy Thursday: In Search of Relaxation

If you were to ask my family how I relaxed they would probably say “She doesn’t know how to relax!” and to be honest that is about right! I am pretty much on the go, all the time.
Unfortunately, this attitude is all too prevalent in our world. Think about how easy it is for a baby or small child to fall asleep. We're born with the instinct to relax and sleep when our bodies or minds need a break. Over the years, it becomes necessary to control and even suppress these natural urges to rest, since we must remain alert as we attend school, learn professions, go to work, or care for a family. Many people spend years conditioning themselves to perform well despite feelings of tiredness. While no one would argue that suppressing tiredness can be a necessary skill, it can impair our ability to actually "let go" and relax when we do find the time.    Relaxation is also a uniquely individual activity. There are a number of ways to relax, as well. From reading, television, exercise, meditation, or just sitting and doing nothing, there are plenty of things you can do to relax. Relaxation is an important tool we all need to utilize in order to prevent a complete and total burn out. The real question is: how do I get rid of that nagging feeling that I'm just being lazy?  Here are a few tips for enjoying and making the best of your me-time.

Invest:
Relaxation is investing time in yourself. Sure, you might think that investing that time in your work or your children might be more productive, but that's not necessarily so. You'll be more productive when you are working if you've spent some time relieving stress. So, rather than thinking, "I'm doing NOTHING," think of it as an investment. At the moment it might seem as if you're doing nothing, but later on you'll be more effective in whatever you're doing because you'll be less stressed.

Recharge:
Think of your body and mind like a cell phone or laptop. They require recharging once in a while otherwise the batteries die and you can't use them anymore. You might think sleeping is enough for your body, but your mind needs time to rest as well. Consistently neglecting to allow yourself to relax can cause you to collapse both physically and mentally.

Exercise:
One of the best ways to relieve stress and invest time in yourself is by exercising. Not only is it good for your body and mind, but in a sense you're working at the same time! The healthier your body is, the better it can function in all areas, including relaxation. An exhausted, "burned out" state isn't going to bring on restorative or strengthening relaxation.

Be Productive in your laziness:
If you are anything like me, and absolutely MUST get something done but would like time to relax, find a way to get your work done in a low-stress way. Need to clean the house? Turn on some music and dance as you clean. Have to pick up the kids from soccer practice? Play a CD in the car and sing as you weave through traffic.

Chillax:
Chillax is a combination of "chill" and "relax". It means exactly what you'd think - so do it! Chill out and enjoy your relaxation. If you start feeling restless or anxious, take a deep breath, let out the frustration, and enjoy your time to yourself.    Keep these suggestions in mind when you're finding yourself getting stressed and overworked. It's okay to be lazy, and in fact, it's highly recommended by doctors and psychologists! Taking a little time each day to enjoy life and do something you enjoy will make you happier, healthier, and more productive. When taking that time just remember not to equate relaxation with sleep. Particularly if you suffer from stress-induced insomnia, daytime napping can just make your nights more wakeful. Remember that the best form of relaxation is finding and participating in something that brings you joy -- whether it be alone or with others, sedentary or active, goal-directed or aimless -- find whatever is it that brings you relaxation and peace.

Need a little help relaxing on your break at work?  Pull out your iphone.  They have a app titled Chillax. With, Relaxing Soundscapes, soothing music, sound mixer, binaural beats, screen dimmer, and a lock mode so you won’t be distracted on your journey to relaxation, and the best part is that it’s free.  So go ahead, Chillax!

Have I been here before? The phenomenon of Deja Vu.

We have all some experience of a feeling, that comes over us occasionally, of what we are saying and doing having been said and done before, in a remote time - of our having been surrounded, dim ages ago, by the same faces, objects, and circumstances - of our knowing perfectly what will be said next, as if we suddenly remember it!
It happens to me and it has probably happened to you. It is sudden and fleeting, leaving as unexpectedly as it came. While the experience is striking in its clarity and detail, it is difficult to recapture or recount. Generally, it is left unexplained and is described in a vague sense, often simply as, "Wow, I just got the strangest déjà vu." Because it is so difficult to research and seems to have no deleterious effects on daily and long-term nervous system function, déjà vu has been left largely to the wayside of neurobiological investigation. In all of its ambiguity, déjà vu is still a perplexing phenomenon that has not yet been fully explained. The value of truly understanding the source of déjà vu and its circuitry is in uncovering one of the many keys to the role of the conscious self in the functioning of the brain.

What is déjà vu and how does it work? Déjà vu is considered a common phenomenon. Surveys show that about one third of the population has had the most common form of déjà vu sensations. Due to the subjective and often indescribable nature of the associated feelings, it has been difficult, to determine who is actually experiencing déjà vu. In general, however, déjà vu is "any number of hard-to-explain sometimes upsetting occurrences of unexpected recognition, in which the person involved has trouble identifying an antecedent for the events and/or places which seem so strangely and intensely familiar." Déjà vu has been defined as "familiarity without awareness." While the situational cues of a déjà vu are familiar, there is a definite lack of awareness about the specific source of the memory.

There are three different types of Déjà vu. 1) Deja Senti: This feeling refers to something 'already felt'. It is a mental phenomenon and researchers believe that something felt in the past is very similar to that felt in the present. This similarity in the two experiences makes a person feel that he/she has felt the same way in the past.  Deja Vecu: A feeling that everything that is happening currently is identical to what had happened before and a strange idea about what is going to happen next, is termed as Deja Vecu. A person experiencing a Deja vecu feeling claims to know what is going to happen in near future and often feels to have remembered it. Deja Visite: This form of Deja vu is a feeling of having visited a completely new place. A person experiencing this form of Deja vu claims to have knowledge of an unvisited place. One claims to be well aware of the geography of a place, when the person has never been there in reality. Deja Visite is characterized by a weird know-how of a spot one has never ever visited. Déjà vecu is the most common déjà vu experience and involves the sensation of having done something or having been in an identical situation before and knowing what will happen next. These sensations are often felt through several senses: seeing, hearing, taste, touch and proprioceptive perceptions. The experience is often incredibly detailed and is usually connected to very normal activities. Although the episode itself lasts from only a fraction of a second to several minutes, it can often be remembered in minute detail long after the episode has occurred. One experiencer says, "There came this strange, almost physical up-welling of visual experience, a visual warping, and at the same time an eerie realization that everything happening now had happened before, maybe many times."

Déjà senti is different from déjà vecu in that the episode of recollection feels more like the recovery of long sought after information. The sensation is one of satisfaction at having retrieved a memory although the memory was not actively sought. This form of déjà vu does not involve any feelings of premonition and the episodes quickly dissipate from memory. Déjà senti has been strongly associated with the partial seizure experiences reported by temporal lobe epilepsy patients. The extended nature of these episodes has allowed for more detailed descriptions of the feelings associated with a déjà senti event. "It was as if one of my dreams had simply been sucked out of the actual, physical environment and set to playing again in every detail." Déjà visité is a more rare event in which a person visits a new place and feels that it is familiar. It is associated more with spatial dimensions while déjà vecu is associated with situations and processes. Déjà vu experiences can be in one of the three forms described above or can be a mixed version with a combined déjà vu effect .

What causes a déjà vu episode? There are several possible explanations for what is occurring during a déjà vu experience. One possibility is simply the occasional mismatch made by the brain in its continuous attempt to create whole sensical pictures out of very small pieces of information. Looking at memory as a hologram, only bits of sensory information are needed for the brain to reconstruct entire three-dimensional images. When the brain receives a small sensory input (a sight, a smell, a sound) that is strikingly similar to such a detail experienced in the past, the entire memory image is brought forward. The brain has taken the past to be the present by virtue of one tiny bit of sensory information. It is this mismatch of past and present sensory information that causes the sense of disconcertment and unease associated with a passing déjà vu . This theory provides a satisfactory explanation for the physical effects of déjà vu. These appear to be similar to the effects of mismatch between sensory input and corollary discharge signal information to the brain. It does not, however, seem to provide sufficient answers to individual (even my own) accounts of déjà vu, where the memory image pulled up is not necessarily from a true past event.
Another explanation for déjà vu is that there is a slight malfunctioning between the long and short-term memory circuits of the brain. Somehow, specific information shortcuts its way from short to long-term memory storage, bypassing the usual mechanisms used for storage transfer. The details concerning this shortcut are not yet well understood. When this new, recent piece of information is drawn upon, the person thinks that the piece is coming from long-term storage and so must have come from the distant past . A similar theory says that the error is in the timing of the perceptive and cognitive processes. Sensory information is rerouted on its way to memory storage and, so, is not immediately perceived. This short delay causes the sensation of experiencing and remembering something at the same time, a very unsettling feeling . One other explanation is that déjà vu is actually the process of remembering memory connections, of following the impulses and synapses . All of these neurobiologically based explanations for déjà vu seem plausible and intriguing and perhaps there is some overlap or combination that accounts for the different experiences we call déjà vu.

Other explanations for déjà vu have been given by psychoanalysts, such as the manifestation of wish fulfillment. Here, déjà vu is the subconscious repetition of a past experience, but with a more positive ending . The realm of parapsychology proposes that déjà vu is a chance for reincarnates to get a sneak peak into a past life. Most scientists scoff at these "magical" explanations for neurological events, citing that they break many of the laws of nature . Some, however, point to more recent findings in physics, such as the possibility of particles that can travel backwards in time (tachyons), time loops and multiple universes. They say that these may give cause for more non-traditional ways of seeing causality and for the possibility of neurological "time travel" . This means that, maybe, just maybe, understanding déjà vu as a means of seeing into the past or future cannot be so immediately dismissed. It is certainly food for thought for the rising debate, anyway.

It is important to note the level of consciousness involved in a déjà vu episode. There are common threads that run through many déjà vu experiences. "When you are in the midst of such an occurrence, you are conscious that everything conforms with your 'memory' of it" and "I know exactly what is going on around me when it happens." This implies that the participation of the entire brain capacity is not required to produce a déjà vu experience. Perhaps more importantly, there is a significant role played by at least a portion of the conscious person and the I-function. "It was like being in a long-running play, complete with the sense of being 'on' and standing

What is this role of the self in déjà vu? "To what extent is it possible for the core awareness to preserve ... images and emotions before they're swallowed up again and sealed tight? " One epileptic déjà vu experiencer claimed that he could consciously recapture the feelings and notions associated with déjà vu simply by writing down the images that appeared during the experience. Later, he found that the memories had not vanished as before but could be brought back to a conscious level simply by reading the notes. The experience was brought back to him as if it was a conscious daydream . The striking implication here is that part of the conscious self, the I-function, is intimately involved and may be communicating with the processes of a déjà vu.

Perhaps to some, déjà vu is not worth its research weight in synapses. It may seem to many to be just an oddball, quirky brain trick that we learn to incorporate into our daily routine. Investigation into the implications of this neural event, however, seems to lead towards more in-depth knowledge of ourselves.

Quite a few of us who have "already-seen" would dare to see even more---would actually follow that dangerous, disappearing, inbound road consciously and witness for the first time what is usually jamais-vu and hidden, and I mean the steady dark frolic of neurons and the ghost that is called ego .

A better understanding of déjà vu may lead us closer to an understanding of the complex relationship between ourselves and our memories. It may light a path for a clearer view into how we incorporate ourselves into our memory and into how our memory is incorporated into our conscious selves. How can this be futile?

Wildlife Wednesday: Puma Concolor

The Puma, cougar, mountain lion, Florida panther, or red tiger has a plethora of names, including his scientific title: Puma concolor. They are the fourth-largest species of cat on earth, they are the most widespread of the American cats, and they have the largest distribution of any western hemisphere mammal, as they reside all across North and South America. They also hold the record as the mammal with the most names.

Interesting Puma Facts

·    Pumas are fiercely territorial with a territorial range of 200 square miles. It is     because of this reason that the puma population is declining with the destruction of  their natural habitat.
·    The puma is an expert hunter and can jump to a height of more than 6 meters or close to 20 feet. It can also run very fast and can climb trees with ease.
·    A puma is even capable of killing a prey three times its own body weight.
·    The hind legs of the puma are longer than the forelegs.
·    Pumas have very strong eyesight.
·    The mating call of the puma is a harsh scream.
·    The Florida panther, one of the sub species of puma, is an endangered animal.

Basic Facts About the Puma

·    Pumas belong to the family Felidae and the scientific name of the species is Felise concolor.
·    The puma is known by many other names like cougar, mountain lion, American  lion, deer tiger, red tiger, panther and catamount.
·    There are 6 subspecies of pumas.
·    The puma is characterized by a small head, short face and a long tail.
·    Their coat color varies widely from tawny brown to pale gray to reddish-brown. The color of the coat is darker on the back and lighter on the chest and inner sides of the legs. The tip of the tail is black.
·    Pumas have four toes with retractable claws.
·    The average length of a puma is around 200 cm or 6 feet with a tail that is as long as 80 cm.
·    An adult male weighs around 140-200 lbs while the female weighs about 90-120 lbs.
·    Pumas are solitary animals and are generally found in mountainous regions. This is why pumas are also referred to as mountain lions.
·    Pumas have no specific mating season and they breed any time during the year. The female puma gives birth to 3 to 5 cubs after a gestation period of 80-96 days.
·    Puma cubs are blind at birth and the mother starts feeding them meat when they are around six weeks old.
·    The young ones of the puma have a spotted coat and the spots disappear once they are six months old.
·    The female puma tends the young ones till they are 2 years old. However, the cubs learn how to hunt prey by the time they are nine months old. After 2 years, the young ones leave their mother in search of territory.
·    Pumas become sexually mature once they reach the age of 3.
·    Today, the major threats or causes for the rapid decline in puma population are as follows.
o   Destruction of their natural habitat
o   Territorial conflict between males
o   Inbreeding within a small gene pool
o   Poaching and hunting by man
o   Environmental pollution
o   Disease
·    The life expectancy of the puma is about 20 years.

Puma Habitat and Feeding Habit Facts

·    The Puma is a wild cat found in the Americas.
·    Pumas are the most widespread species among all wild cats. Pumas are one of the few animal species found across a wide geographical region.
·    The habitat of the puma or mountain lion varies from deserts to grasslands to mountains and forests.
·    Pumas are found in parts of Asia, the Americas and Africa.
·    The puma usually hunts and feeds on small prey such as deer, smaller mammals, wild sheep, rabbits, raccoons, antelopes, rodents and birds.
·    Pumas are nocturnal hunters with very strong eyesight which helps them see their prey in the dark.
·    Pumas are powerful animals that secretly lay in wait for their prey to come close enough. Once the prey is within its reach, the puma pounces on the hapless animal and bites it on the neck to kill it immediately.
·    Pumas can feed on a carcass for days on end. Once they hunt down a prey, they keep the carcass safely hidden from scavengers.
·    Pumas hunt their own prey and never feed on prey killed by other predators.

Today, the puma is protected in most North American and South American countries. Steps are being taken to save this beautiful wild cat from extinction. Recently, the increase in the number of whitetail deer in the US has raised the possibility of sustaining the population of pumas.

Travel Tuesday: Hauhine

Huahine, French Polynesia

History of Huahine

Captain Cook discovered Huahine and the other Leeward Islands in 1769 - an easy feat, as the Polynesians knew them quite well already.  In fact, Huahine had already been settled by Polynesians circa 850.  Nonetheless, Cook named the six islands (today the Leeward Islands) the Society Islands.  That name was later spread to Tahiti and Moorea as well. Huahine's economy was greatly boosted throughout the 19th century by American whalers avoiding the Antarctic waters in winter.  Instead they stayed at islands like Huahine to re-supply with island products, trading foreign plants for hospitality.  Today, some of those introduced plants are having adverse impacts on the ecology.  Like much of the rest of the Societies, missionaries came to Huahine in 1808.  Later, King Pomare II extended his reach to Huahine and abolished the traditional local religion.  Missionary law was imposed in 1822.  The Leeward Islands (Iles sous le vent) remained a British protectorate until 1887, 45 years longer than Tahiti and Moorea.  The French landed marines on Huahine in 1886, telling Britain that they wouldn't annex the islands, but a year later Britain traded them for fishing rights off Newfoundland.  Still, the French had problems.  Most local chiefs refused to sign the treaty until 1895, and Raiatea held out for two more years.  An initial act of the French was to expel the English missionaries.  Nonetheless, missionary law did not end until 1945, when all the islanders were given French citizenship.

Today

Huahine is for sure the wildest and most secretive island of the Society Islands thanks to its luxuriant nature and its past full of myths and legends. Located 30 minutes away from Tahiti by plane, it is also the nearest one from the main island of this archipelago. Huahine would draw its name from hua, sex/gender and hine, woman. It is said that this name would refer to a pregnant woman. Furthermore, some think that the Tavaiura Mount looks like a lying woman face with a roundness belly. Formerly, the island was called Matairea which means « cheerful breeze ». At his time, Captain Cook named it « hermosa » which means « beautiful ». This island appears like a feminine and attractive island whose inhabitants are proud of. Huahine is composed by two islands: Huahine Nui (big Huahine) in the North and Huahine Iti (small Huahine) in the South separated by a narrow channel. Both offer a luxuriant vegetation, white sandy beaches, small coves hidden from the eyes, coral desert islets, a lagoon with turquoise colours and much diversified food and fruit-producing cultivation.
A real haven of peace where calm and quiet reign. Nothing better to recharge one’s batteries!  Moreover, the local population is friendly and welcoming. Huahine can also pride itself on possessing one of the widest and best preserved archaeological site of the Society Islands: the Maeva marae, a whole of several important marae (sacrifices sites for gods) located at the bottom of the Mouatapu Mount and near the Fauna Nui laguna. Legends hang over this island lusted after by Hiro, god of thieves, and adopted by artists. The island has much more touristic and cultural interests such as the local craft industry, fish parks, authentic fishermen villages, the visit to the sacred eels of Faaie or nice walks in magnificent gardens for the lovers of exotic plants and flowers.  On the lagoon side, surfers will enjoy the island as it offers excellent surf sites.
Divers can discover as their please the underwater wildlife (falling coral, caves full of fish, coral gardens…). Finally, several lagoon excursions are proposed by the nautical activities providers.  Every year in October, the Hawaiki Nui Va’a race, which is the biggest canoe race of the South Pacific, starts from Huahine.

If I ever get a chance to travel to Hauhine I am going to stay at:

Te Tiare Beach Resort

This resort features 19 garden, 6 beach, 5 lagoon, and 11 deep overwater bungalows all facing west for wonderful views of Raiatea and Taha'a islands as well as spectacular sunsets. The main building, which is home to the restaurant, bar, lunge and boutique is also located over water with wonderful views on the enchanting lagoon.  The hotel provides complimentary scheduled boat transfers to and from the main town of Fare and local cultural activities are available on site.

Gangnam Style: The most "liked" video ever on YouTube

You’re probably at least somewhat familiar by now with “Gangnam Style,” the baroque and bizarre Korean music video that has become the most liked video ever on YouTube. Yes, ever. Yes, the most liked. Not only has this video enjoyed almost 243 million views at the time of writing, but it has been adorned with more than 2.2 million likes, according to Guinness World Records. If not, here’s a quick recap: PSY(short for psycho), a rapper-singer type, emotes and dances around for some four minutes to an aggressively hypnotic techno track while surrounded at different times by horses, beautiful women, a carousel, commuters and old people. It’s like a Korean Macarena. But “Gangnam Style” also has some deeper meaning that most YouTube viewers are probably unaware of. The title refers to the affluent Gangnam district of Seoul, South Korea, and is meant to poke fun at the area’s outsized influence. Gangnam is one of the richest parts of Korea and it's where all the big entertainment companies are, all the trendy clubs and shops are there. a song about people who are classy in the day time but go wild at night. For those of you who have not seen this video yet, enjoy:

Emmys 2012: Best and Worst Dressed on the Red Carpet

It wasn’t just the temperature that was hot on the red carpet last night at the 4th Primetime Emmy Awards.  Celebrities of the big and small screen looked amazing tonight as they made their grand entrances at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
Celebrities like Heidi Klum, Allison Williams and Julie Bowen stood out in very spring like colors such as citrus yellow, Kelly green and sea foam.
I used to think it was the Golden Globes, but the Emmy's really set the tone for the awards season now.
