Emmys 2012: Best and Worst Dressed on the Red Carpet

It wasn’t just the temperature that was hot on the red carpet last night at the 4th Primetime Emmy Awards.  Celebrities of the big and small screen looked amazing tonight as they made their grand entrances at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
Celebrities like Heidi Klum, Allison Williams and Julie Bowen stood out in very spring like colors such as citrus yellow, Kelly green and sea foam.
I used to think it was the Golden Globes, but the Emmy's really set the tone for the awards season now.
Below are just a few of my favorite dresses from last nights event.

Allison Williams wore an emerald green Oscar de La Renta gown and accessorized with Fred Leighton drop earrings and a simple bracelet.
Heidi Klum wore a sea-foam Alexandre Vauthier gown. She looked stunning!
Hayden’s Marchesa creation, featured a gold embroidered gown draped in blue tulle. She accessorized with jewels by Harry Winston, carried an evening bag by Judith Leiber, and styled her hair in a topknot.
Mayim Bialik wore a custom floor-length burgundy Pamella Roland gown with a draped front.  Blossom has come a long way.
Gretchen Mol wore a red hot vintage Valentino Haute Couture gown from the ‘70s.
Cat Deeley wore a one-shoulder coral Tadashi Shoji gown with a mermaid hemline.
Jessica Lange, who took home the Emmy for supporting actress in a miniseries or movie, donned a floor-length hot coral J. Mendel column gown with gold strappy sandals, a gold cuff, and a gold clutch for her big night. If only she would have taken off her sunglasses
Julianne Hough wore an embroidered Georges Hobeika Couture strapless gown in sea-foam green.
Julie Bowen who took home the award for outstanding actress in a comedy series for the second year in a row rocked a dramatic chartreuse Monique Lhuillier strapless gown – which she paired with Jimmy Choo heels  and Bochic earrings.
Sarah Hyland wore a champagne Marchesa frock with floral embellishment that she helped create.
Tina Fey wore a Vivienne Westwood strapless dress, with an embellished droopy neckline.
Amy Poehler wore a sparkling gown with a plunging neckline by Stella McCartney.
Edie Falco traded in her scrubs for a sultry midnight blue gown accented with a gold belt .
Jessica Pare wore a white Grecian gown featuring a black waistband created especially for her by Jason Wu.
Jane Krakowski let her hair down for the occasion and sparkled from head-to-toe in a strapless FrancoKaufman creation.
Maria Menounos wore  a strapless blue gown featuring a sweetheart neckline.
New mom Giuliana Rancic was simply glowing in a Romona Keveza black mermaid gown made of silk crepe featuring an architectural neckline and a sexy side slit. Gorgeous green Sutra earrings, a gold box clutch, and a high bouffant ponytail.

Now it's your turn, I would like to know what you thought of the red carpet fashion.  Were there any styles you adored? Better yet, who was a fashion don't in your eyes? Please leave your feedback in the comments section below and have a fabulous week!
